First Dog Walk!
Avery is doing so well! Nain and I took her on her first walk (and first dog walk) today. It was raining ever so slightly, but she stayed nice and cozy under the car seat and stroller covers. Of course, I forgot poop bags (for the dogs, not the baby). We did go back to get the dog presents later after making a big deal gesturing for all to see that we didn't have bags, but were looking. Getting that stroller up the hill is going to give me a workout. I thought that, given the expense of the stroller, it should have some sort of automatic push setting, but nope, I'm gonna have to push that thing myself.

My stroller was really heavy, I thought, in the first week. Now it seems like nothing. I don't have hills, of course, but just saying that I was also surprised that a stroller could be so hefty. If you ever watch "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" and see them push three toddlers uphill in a stroller (they each push a triplet stroller) then you will have a new appreciation for how heavy that is.
wow, you guys are so adorable! you are doing such a great job, you're easing into this so well! and love that eddie is curling up to make sure he's not forgotten, what a ham.
